Lion's mane jellyfish

The largest jellyfish, Lion mane Jellyfish. They have been around since dinosaurs ages (over 650 million years ago ) this fascinating sea creature can grow up to 6.5 meters and tentacles of 50 meters long . Its range is confined to cold, Boreal waters of the Arctic, northern Atlantic, and northern Pacific Oceans. You might be thinking how fatal is the stings ? well for being a big fella there stings are not so much fatal but if you do get stung by it, it will leave rashes marks a pinch or some sort, but small remedies such as vinegar, isotropy alcohol, and meat tenderizer will do the trick. your thinking to your self do they really get that big (Photo to the left) well this picture seems to much of a fake to me but if you have any answers or theory's about this photo I would be glad to hear your input of this photo and if its real or fake I would like to know either or. The photo that shows to your right is a more reasonable photo of a diver and lion mane jellyfish still impressive jellyfish right ? And the largest mane jellyfish record specimen found, washed up on the shore of Massachusetts Bay  in 1870, had a bell (body) with a diameter of 7 feet 6 inches (2.29 m) and tentacles 120 feet (37 m) long. since I was a kid I was always interested about the sea and what lies beneath. It's always been mind blowing how lovely the ocean can be. I will be blogging mostly about the sea and what odd creatures are in the world , mostly anything that is catchy and think everyone should know about. thank you for reading my little article about small facts and how amazing this lion mane jellyfish really is. And if you have any question I would be glad to answer anything you have to say negative or positive.
